What data is collected and why?

Email communication

If you subscribe to the newsletter or contact me via a form, I collect certain information solely to respond to your inquiry or send follow-ups.
All newsletter subscriptions and contact form submissions require your explicit consent (opt-in). You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link included in every email.

Newsletter

• Newsletter emails are managed with Mailster and delivered through Amazon SES.
• When you subscribe, I collect your email address and your language preference (either explicitly chosen or inferred from the version of the site you registered through).

Contact form

• When you contact me via the website form, I collect only your email address and the message you send.
• I do not collect your name, IP address, or any other personal data unless you include it voluntarily in your message.
• Contact form submissions are sent directly to my Google Workspace email and temporarily stored in the website’s database as a backup in case of delivery issues.
• These backups are reviewed weekly and deleted regularly.

Purchases and checkout

When you place an order in the online store, the system collects the information necessary to process your order, such as your name, billing/shipping address, email, and payment details.

• Platform used: WooCommerce.
• Payment processors: PayPal and Stripe.
• Payment data is processed directly by the chosen provider. I do not store or access your payment information.

Website analytics

I use Matomo Analytics to collect anonymized visitor data. This helps me understand how the site is used and improve its performance.

• Data is anonymized and not shared with third parties.

Embedded content, security and third-party services

Some parts of the site may use external services such as:

• Google Maps (to show the studio location). Google Maps may collect limited technical data (such as your IP address and browser details) when the content is loaded, based on my legitimate interest in offering that feature. This data is processed by Google and is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
• Cloudflare Turnstile (to prevent spam and distinguish humans from bots). Cloudflare Turnstile processes a minimal set of technical signals (client IP address, TLS fingerprint, User-Agent header, and the site key/origin) solely to detect and block bot traffic and keep the site secure. For this purpose, Cloudflare acts as a data processor on my behalf. Cloudflare separately acts as a data controller when it uses these signals to improve Turnstile’s bot detection, based on its own legitimate interest. This data is subject to Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy and Turnstile Privacy Notice.

Fonts

This site uses self-hosted fonts to ensure consistent typography across devices.

• No personal data is collected or shared in the process.

Security

To protect the site against broken links and vulnerability scanning, security measures are in place that record technical information such as 404 errors.

• This data does not include IP addresses.
• These records are processed solely for security purposes and are not shared with third parties.

Cookies

This site uses cookies to ensure proper functionality, improve performance, and provide basic analytics.

Essential cookies

These are required for the website to function properly, particularly for features like the online store and adaptive images.

• Cloudflare Turnstile may use cookies and other technical signals strictly necessary to detect and block bots and protect the site from automated attacks. This data is processed by Cloudflare and is subject to Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy and Turnstile Privacy Notice.
• WooCommerce uses cookies to track cart contents, manage customer sessions, and process orders. These cookies do not store personal information unless you log in or make a purchase.
• The website theme uses technical cookies to manage adaptive images and privacy settings. These cookies store runtime information such as viewport size and screen resolution to deliver properly sized images and enhance user experience. These cookies are not used to build advertising profiles and are essential for the correct functioning of the website.

Third-party cookies

• Google Maps is used to display the studio location. You can enable or disable this service via the Privacy Preferences.

Analytics cookies

• Matomo Analytics may set anonymized cookies to help analyze how visitors use the site. IP addresses are anonymized and no personal data is tracked without your consent.

Managing cookies

You can also block cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies may affect your ability to use the website.
