Some ideas can take a year developing a system to become real. Others take an afternoon modelling a shape and a bit of time in the workshop to make it tangible.
Both start the same way: something ordinary catches my attention and I ask myself why, then I produce an object to share that question with you.
The format it takes, whether an art installation, a functional object, a campaign, or something harder to categorize, tends to be a consequence of the process, not the starting point.
Some of these projects I initiate myself, because something asks to be made. Others are commissions, which I approach with the same logic.
From iconic studio projects and recent work, to things still taking shape and reference material, this overview is a glimpse of where I’m coming from and where I’m headed.
Not everything lives here
Some of what I make never makes it to the site. The newsletter is where that lives instead.
A monthly dispatch on what’s going on at the studio and what’s coming.
